Greetings Potter’s House Waipahu family & friends! As many of you are aware, on May 21st our governing officials here on Oahu have announced that houses of worship may reopen effective May 23rd, provided the necessary conditions & guidelines are thoroughly adhered to. We are grateful for this development, and excited to announce that our church building will be open for services beginning Sunday, May 24th, at the usual times of 10am & 6pm. We are hopeful you can join us, and greatly looking forward to being together in person once again!
We are confident that we can work together to apply some essential changes, in the interim, for the benefit of all. Your understanding & cooperation is appreciated. Thank you for familiarizing yourself with the following important information in advance of your return:
1) There will not be a nursery, children’s church or children’s Sunday School classes provided at this time
2) Offering baskets will not be passed ( alternative giving methods will be made available )
3) If you have contracted Covid-19 or have come from a known virus area, please do not attend
4) If you are currently sick or have a fever, please do not attend
5) We recommend that the elderly or those with other existing illnesses join us online, instead of attending in person
6) Please do not arrive at the last minute or late, as there will be some safety screening for all who enter that will require some additional time
7) Each person will be required to sanitize their hands at entry
8) Temperature screenings will be performed
9) Social distancing will be practiced, there will be no hand-shaking or hugging, etc. & the wearing of face masks is required
10) Families will be seated together & assigned seating may be required
( please note: if for any reason you have objections to, or are not comfortable with, the above guidelines; we appreciate that for now you would continue to join us online )
After the lengthy time of restrictions we’ve all experienced, we are very excited about reuniting! Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, looking forward to seeing all of you soon! God bless!
